New Forum

I've been trying to think of ways to get my readers more involved in the blog. Short of giving everyone the ability to be an admin here, the only way I could think of was to add a forum so that everyone could post threads. I couldn't find a way to do that on Blogger, so I've created an ActiveBoard Forum. Let me be clear that I will still post here on a regular basis, but feel free to stop by The Conservative Corner and let's talk.

I want to post a challenge here...

I've already posted this challenge on CU. The jackass I want to talk to knows who he is. Here or at CU. That is all.

I see that you have found my blog and you cowards dug around on Technorati and found my real name. I've taken my name off of that profile, but the damage has already been done. Why you thought that my name was relevant to our disagreement is a mystery hidden deep in your drug-addled minds.

I've changed the template of my blog. I found the old template made it hard to find the link under my post to comment (it couldn't be because I'm boring:). How do you like it? I'll have a poll up in a few minutes.

Recent comments in the sidebar

You may have noticed that I've been busy doing some stuff with my blog. I've put up polls (please vote!) and switched to the Beta version, which made it easier (albeit very slow) to change the font style. A few days ago, I decided to put recent comments in the sidebar. With the help of the "hacks" posted by the people at Beautiful Beta, a blog devoted to designing cool stuff for those of us with the Beta version of Blogger, I now have a recent comments sidebar much better than what I had. So, let's just give BB a round of applause.

Did I miss anything?:)

If anyone knows how to put recent comments in the sidebar using the beta version please tell me how. Thanks.

Well, there you have it...

I upgraded the blog to Blogger.com's beta yesterday. Today, I put labels on all of my past posts so that posts on similar topics can be easily found. If anything else changes, you know what's going on now.:)

Well, it's been an up-and-down couple of days...

On the plus side, today's my birthday and yesterday my Cowboys clobbered the Bucs. OTOH, today the Longhorns lost. Darn.
