Update: This is the place to discuss the draft poll.
In order to scare the ignorant voters that I wrote to in my "Open letter to "moderate" voters", DUmmies made a claim that Pres. Bush, if re-elected would institute a military draft in June of 2005. Don't believe me? See this link.
Their evidence? None.
Enter Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), who, along with five cosponsors, introduced HR 163 in 2003. The bill would have provided for a draft as early as (surprise, surprise) June of 2005. Fortunately, we actually had sane people in charge of Congress back then, so the bill was tabled until a month before the 2004 election. Even then, Rangel didn't vote for his own bill.
Now that the moonbats think they have control, Rangel is back. He says will introduce yet another draft bill when the next Congress convenes in January with a Democrat majority. Of course, he has the support of the moonbats who were so afraid that Bush would introduce a draft. Sounds illogical, right? Just remember that nothing a moonbat says or does is ever logical. They believe that if sons and daughters of Republicans are dying, the war can end quicker and America will be in it's rightful place.
It's not all bad, though. Now that Rangel is in the majority and is about to chair the tax-writing committee, he can't hide his moonbattery behind a minority status. This will blow up in his and the Democrats' faces. Just sit back and pass the popcorn.
